Mestre Pedro is hosting a weekend of Capoeira in Cambridge, that will go over all aspects: conditioning, music, singing and rodas (lots of rodas!).
Friday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm @ Grupo Senzala Studio – Music and Roda
Saturday from 10 am to midday @ Caldecote Primary School then from 2pm @ Sturton Street Methodist Church.
Sunday from 11am at Caldecote Primary School, Highfields road Cambridge CB23 7NX.
Our final roda of 2014 will be at Immortal 365, Peterborough on Friday 19th December, 18:00-20:30. It will be family-friendly and Santa will be making a visit to see the kids. Nominal cost of £1 per child, free for adults (as long as you bring a dish to share for the post-roda buffet).
Mestre Gato is one of the founders of Group Senzala and is currently visiting the UK (he lives in Rio de Janeiro). He will be making his first ever visit to Northampton and will be teaching our Northampton class. This special class will run from 19:00 – 21:00 and will be £10.
Professor Marciano teaches Capoeira in our Cambridge group and will be visiting Northampton to run our class.

Senzala Midlands is honoured to be welcoming Mestre Carlão from Kabula Capoeira to Northampton on Sunday 20th May 2018. He will be running workshops for adults and kids in both movement and music. Mestre Carlão is a hugely accomplished master of Capoeira with many years of experience and this, his first visit to Northampton, promises to be an event not to be missed!
Timing:
We will start with a kids (and adults) class from 10:00 – 11:00 with story-telling, music and movement; then adult classes and rodas will continue until we are kicked out at 18:00.

Capoeira Senzala Leicester invites you to a joyful day of capoeira in the park!
Are you new to this Brazilian art? Are you a roda veteran? We would like to train with you in Bede Park on the 11th of May 2019.

2pm onward: Potluck lunch! (Bring some food to share! Please write down the ingredients of your delicious dishes so people with allergies and dietary requirements are aware.)
